The INTEND project explores how intent-based management can transform operations across the computing continuum—from cloud to edge—by leveraging agents powered by generative AI and domain knowledge. These intelligent agents aim to autonomously manage resources and applications in alignment with human stakeholder intentions, interpreting high-level goals rather than requiring low-level directives
INTEND aims to develop 10 novel software tools for the cognitive continuum, with a focus on intelligent operation of data pipelines. In this tutorial for the 5G4Data use case we will show how some of these tools are used in our first Minimal Viable Scenario (MVS) proof of concept implementation.
